David Welton, Jr.
Financial Advisor
The spark of financial curiosity ignited during a high school economics class when David engaged in a simulated stock market game. It dawned on him that he could invest in various companies and hold ownership—a revelation that steered him towards pursuing a Finance degree at Texas Tech University.
After years of holding various positions in sales, and owning a couple of businesses of his own, David marked the beginning of his financial advising career in 2010 with Wells Fargo. This career move provided the platform for David to fulfill his lifelong aspiration of guiding individuals in understanding their financial objectives and charting a path to pursue their goals.
Now part of LifePointe Financial Planning, David finds fulfillment in integrating finances into people's lives rather than reshaping lives around finances—a perfect alignment of his passion and profession. He takes pride in witnessing the transformative impact of finances and investments on individuals' lives and relishes guiding younger generations towards securing their long-term financial future as well as older generations towards living out the life they’d always dreamed.
Outside of his professional endeavors, David enjoys spending time with his family, creating cherished memories traveling.
